Changes that can come with cancer treatment can challenge our physical and mental wellbeing. These changes include body image and weight; stress, anxiety and depression; short- and long-term side effects like fatigue and lymphoedema. All of these and more can have a negative impact on our quality of life.
Emerging evidence shows cancer patients may benefit from a range of mind-body therapies and lifestyle choices. Activities such as meditation, yoga, tai chi, acupuncture, exercise and massage can be helpful. They are used alongside standard medical treatment to reduce side effects and improve emotional health and wellbeing.

It is always important to speak with your medical team about the therapies and activities you are using.

Come along to our Cancer and Wellbeing Day to:

  • learn more about ways that may help improve your wellbeing
  • meet up with other women who have experienced breast or a gynaecological cancer
  • try activities like yoga, qi gong, meditation, Feldenkrais and exercise with the help of experienced practitioners
  • enjoy a light vegetarian lunch.

Booking is essential.

Please email [email protected] to register your interest. We will contact you once a date is confirmed.
