Medical cannabis

Over the past few years, there has been much interest in the use of cannabis for medicinal purposes. It is suggested that it may be useful for some symptoms associated with cancer and cancer treatment, such as nausea, pain, and loss of appetite. To date the evidence is limited, however there are some trials currently underway or in planning. Hear from Dr Becky Chapman, Staff Specialist in Palliative Medicine and Medical Oncology at Bendigo Health, about what we do currently know about this topic.
