Location: Online workshop
This gentle class will offer slow flowing movement, breathing techniques and meditation. The class is designed to explore mindful movement, assist with anxiety, and quieten the mind. It is suitable for anyone at any stage of the cancer journey and can be done seated or standing.
Our teacher, Loretta, used yoga to aid her own recovery from physical fatigue and emotional exhaustion after her cancer treatment. ‘To be able to move my body, connect with my breath and feel that I was gaining some form of control back in my life, this helped me manage my recovery’, she says. Loretta has been passionate about teaching Restorative yoga since that time.
Wear loose comfortable clothing.
