Jasmin Pollard
Jasmin is a psychologist working at the Swan Hill District Health Counselling Department. She was born and raised in Kerang, and after leaving for study and some work experience she has returned and is now raising her own family in here. Her work involves providing counselling support for various presenting issues including but not limited to, depression, anxiety, stress and relational issues as well as facilitating different groups. She has a passion for working with parents and families to foster healthy and secure relationships and believes early intervention is the key to successful outcomes.
Helen Chaston
Helen lives and has lived in the Mallee / Riverina region for her whole life (growing up in Balranald) – She feels as though she has red dirt circulating through her veins. She spent a brief period of time in Sydney as a young person pursuing study – too much noise and too many people for this country person.
Helen is a counsellor with Swan Hill District Health Counselling Department. She part of the “sandwich generation” where we juggle family time / grandparent time / work / caring for others. As a counsellor, she spends her day supporting individuals who may be experiencing: anxiety; depression; difficulty within their couple relationships; managing work / life balance; challenging workplace relations; navigating life transitions (children starting / finishing school, new baby in the family, retirement, moving into assisting living); navigating grief and loss; or whatever else that may be creating challenges for people. She especially enjoys witnessing the individual reclaiming their life from the troubling / challenging times.
Group Art Therapy with Kelly
Kelly Stacey completed her Registered Nursing in 2013 at Deakin University. She then progressed to complete a Masters in Art Therapy at La Trobe Bundoora in 2023. Kelly is currently practicing as an RN and an art therapist at headspace Swan Hill.
