An introduction to Wellness practice – what’s in it for me?

This presentation is a brief introduction to Wellness, what it means and how activities such as exercise and meditation practice can be beneficial for everyone – in illness and in health.  This session will also include a short mindfulness meditation exercise for participants to try.

Our presenter, Dr. Leon Tan is Wellness and Medical practitioner who has worked in varied fields of medicine including paediatrics, psychiatry and palliative care within an extensive career in community general practice. He works as a GP, as a Wellness Practitioner at 5th Element Wellness, and at St Vincent’s Hospital and Monash Medical School.
