Nina Riggs was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer at the age of 38. At the time, she was a poet, and was married with two young sons. Nina is an exceptional writer who manages to describe her very serious situation in a way that is entertaining and often even, funny! The Afterword was written by her husband John, after her death in early 2017.
