Andrea Fairbairn has written the book she wanted to read while she was going through chemotherapy. She wanted to read real life experiences, rather than medical information. This book is part journal and part handbook. It includes information and inspiration with topics including how chemo feels, what happens to your body, what happens when you finish. This second edition includes extra information on recovery and getting your life back again. Andrea was diagnosed with breast cancer, and her treatment included mastectomy, reconstruction, chemotherapy and Herceptin, but her very practical chemotherapy information would be helpful for anyone going through chemotherapy.
