Online resource originally developed as a hard copy book in 2010 by the National Breast and Ovarian Cancer Centre (now Cancer Australia), and updated in 2013. This book is for people who have been diagnosed with secondary breast cancer (also known as metastatic breast cancer or advanced breast cancer). It contains information to help you understand your diagnosis and your options for treatment and care. It may also be helpful for your family and friends. Everyone’s situation and needs are different. Some of the information in this book may be helpful now and some may be more helpful later.
