When someone you love has cancer…

When someone you love or care for is diagnosed with breast or a gynaecological cancer, it can be a very difficult and unsettling time. Counterpart provides information and support to partners, carers, family members, friends and colleagues through the Resource Centre and by linking them into other community services.

The Counterpart volunteers, having experienced cancer themselves, can listen to your concerns, share experiences and offer practical and emotional support. Partners, family and friends are encouraged to visit the Resource Centre and access many of the books, DVDs and CDs that are available to help deal with issues related to the support and care of a loved one or friend in need.
