Here's  what went into our  new website

By Counterpart Women supporting women with cancer 9 November 2021

More people than ever  are using the Counterpart website.

In the 8 years since our website was built, we have:

● developed new programs

● created new online     resources

● outgrown our website’s    old structure.

Here

is

our

new

website

in numbers.

590

There is a lot of great information on the Counterpart website.

With our new website, all this is much easier to find.

conversations

We kicked off the process by listening to what women wanted from our website.

72

conversations

We ran focus groups and talked with a lot of different women.

6

rounds of testing

We used different methods to test the topics and structure  of our website.

6

rounds of testing

We tested with a whole range of different people.

The last 18 months haven’t been easy for anyone.

Even web-based projects are tricky when you can’t meet with your teammates, web developers and people who use your website.

We are a small, not-for-profit service. When you don’t have a big web design budget, you have to rely on the ingenuity of your staff.

coffees

And our staff rely on coffee.

(Oat flat whites, regular lattes, half strength soy lattes and flat whites  to be specific).

There are almost too many people to thank, but we'll give it a go..

Counterpart is a service of  Women's Health Victoria.

Counterpart is supported by the Victorian Government.

This story features elements from an artwork by Aboriginal artist Madison Connors, a Yorta Yorta (Wolithica), Dja Dja Wurrung, Gamilaroi woman from North East Victoria.

Women's Health Victoria acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters on which we work, the people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to them, their culture and their Elders past and present.
