Some women with breast cancer will be recommended radiotherapy as part of their treatment. Radiotherapy involves the use of high energy radiation to destroy cancer cells that may be left in the breast and/or axilla (armpit) after your surgery.

Our presenter will discuss the techniques used to deliver radiotherapy, the benefits and side effects of this treatment, as well as the current and emerging trends for its application.

Presenter Kez Brown is currently in the Education and Research role at Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellbeing and Research Centre. She has been qualified for 10 years and has a keen interest in MRI imaging, research and education.
