Cancer-related fatigue

Time: 10.30am–11.30am

Location: Webinar

Fatigue is one of the more common side effects people experience during and after cancer treatment. Feeling tired, weak, drained and exhausted, either physically or mentally, can be very frustrating and isolating.

Cancer-related fatigue is different to normal tiredness because it doesn’t always go away with rest or sleep.

Managing fatigue is an important part of cancer care and there are things that can help. Our presenter, Elizabeth Pearson will outline practical strategies for managing fatigue, including the links to sleep problems.

Elizabeth is an occupational therapist and researcher who leads a research project focused on improving the management of cancer-related fatigue.

You are welcome to submit questions for Elizabeth before the session. Please email them to [email protected] by Tuesday 22 September. You will also be able to ask questions in the session.

This webinar is run through Zoom webinars. Joining in is easy to do from a computer, tablet or smartphone. See our Joining an event online fact sheet for more information.
