Early menopause and cancer

Treatment for cancer can lead to menopause happening earlier in a woman’s life than would normally be expected. Early menopause may be associated with a complex mix of physical, emotional, psychological and social changes and challenges.

We have an expert panel of speakers to present on and discuss this topic. They include:

– Dr Kate Johnston-Ataata, Research Fellow (Health Sociology), Social and Global Studies Centre, RMIT University.

– Dr Rhonda Garad, Senior Lecturer and Research Fellow in Knowledge Translation at Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation, Monash University.

– Rebecca, Counterpart Peer Support Volunteer with lived experience of early menopause.
