Many changes occur after diagnosis: physical, emotional, roles, family dynamics, work, mental health, economic/ financial – fill in the blanks with what happened to you. All women experience these differently, but there are common themes. Changes calls for a response, adjustment and a new way of managing your new reality. Sharee will walk the group through dealing with change and coming through the demands of a cancer diagnosis, treatment and what next.

Sharee works as a registered Psychologist and Professional Coach, her clients are medical doctors. For 12 years she ran her private counselling practice in Sale, Victoria working with people who experienced anxiety, depression, stress, grief, chronic illness and other health challenges. In 2011 her husband Tim died of cancer at the age of 41.

Sharee is the proud mother of three young adult children, the author of the book The Thriving Doctor, the Founder of Coaching for Doctors, who’s mission is to amplify Care in healthcare, and the creator of the App RESPOND for Healthcare Workers. Sharee works with medical doctors as a systemic way to improve patient care. She considers mindfulness, grounded in curiosity and compassion, to be the most effective way to bring joy, sustained change and focus to our lives.

This information session is brought to you in partnership with Pancare Foundation, a leading charity committed to inspiring hope, raising awareness, supporting families and funding research for upper gastrointestinal (GI) cancers.
