Join us for an informative and interactive discussion on communicating with young people about cancer, hosted by Canteen. Canteen is an organisation dedicated to providing tailored support for young people impacted by cancer. This session will be useful for people with a cancer diagnosis who are parents or carers of young people.

Meet Kathyrn Lenton, Senior Practice Lead at Canteen Australia

Kathryn is currently employed as Senior Practice Lead with Canteen Australia, a national charity providing support to young people and their families aged 12-25 impacted by Cancer. Kathryn is a qualified Social Worker and Counsellor who has worked for many years in the child and youth trauma and mental health fields. In her role at Canteen, Kathryn is routinely providing support to clinicians and the wider service about ways to work safely and respectfully with young people and families relating to the family cancer experience.

Audience: Any woman who has had a diagnosis of cancer.
