Join Matt Young, from Melbourne Meditation Centre, for an introduction to meditation & mindfulness session.

In this one-hour introduction to meditation and mindfulness Matt will show you how you can use meditation to relax your body and calm your mind – wherever and whenever you happen to be. He’ll present an approach to meditation that’s user-friendly, light-hearted and enjoyable.

If you’re simply curious to learn more, or looking for some strategies for managing stress and worry, getting to sleep, or thinking more clearly and creatively, come along and discover how meditation might work for you.

Matt Young is the Director of the Melbourne Meditation Centre, which he established in 2005 to make meditation accessible and demystify it for contemporary audiences. Adopting a down-to-earth approach grounded in science and psychology, he has since helped countless individuals find practical ways to reduce stress, debunking myths and showing that anyone can meditate. With extensive experience in the field, including involvement with organisations like Headspace and Meditation Australia, and featured on numerous apps, Matt remains dedicated to exploring effective techniques and helping people integrate meditation into their busy lives.

Audience: Any woman who has had (recently or in the past) a cancer diagnosis. Family/ partners/ support people of women with a cancer diagnosis are also welcome to attend.
