Dance Flow

Sally Low – Sally Low Method

Sally is excited to offer an experience of her work from years of running creative expressive dance classes called ‘Women Who Flow With the Sea’. Through dance, music and creative exploration, she believes joy, healing, moving through difficulties and onwards can be expressed in ways that not only give you fresh insight but form the beginnings of new neural pathways.

With over 40 years of experience in guiding people through movement challenges, Sally Low is an accomplished Physiotherapist and Dance Therapist. She specialises in the Feldenkrais Method and has additional training in Neuroplasticity and movement concepts. Her extensive career spans clinical settings, hospitals, rehabilitation centres, and private practice.

Creative Journey – art therapy experience

Ann Soo, Art Therapist

Experience the therapeutic power of creativity in our art therapy workshop. This session offers a safe and nurturing space to explore your feelings through art, guided by a professional art therapist. Whether you’re new to art or experienced, you’ll find this workshop a valuable tool for emotional expression and personal insight.

Session facilitator Ann Soo brings extensive experience as a social worker across a variety of clinical settings, working with a diverse range of individuals with complex health conditions. Actively involved in the art community, she has volunteered at numerous art exhibitions over the past 10 years. In the past five years as a Social Worker and Art Therapist, Ann has served as a Sessional Social Work Field Educator and Liaison at Federation University since 2020. Her work also includes facilitating art therapy workshops and presenting at events such as the Creative Mental Health Forum. She was a member of the training team and a presenter at the Sydney Centre for Creative Change, focusing on trauma-informed, creative approaches for working with trauma survivors. In addition to having experience designing and leading therapeutic programs at Foundation House, including during the COVID-19 lockdown, Ann has also consulted on social work and art therapy practices and facilitated professional development and group therapy sessions across various organisations.
