Audience: Any woman who has had (recently or in the past) a cancer diagnosis. Family/partners/support people of women with a cancer diagnosis are also welcome to attend.
Qigong is a gentle self-care exercise technique which originated in China, and is widely practised for health promotion and prevention of disease. Qigong practice can help with balance, flexibility and strength. It also calms the mind, improves focus, and reduces stress. Join us to learn a simple Qigong routine that you can continue to practise at home.
Our facilitator, Jen Scandolera has been in the fitness industry for 30 years teaching many other activities to help people stay fit and have fun doing it. However, sharing yoga and qigong has been her calling.
In 2020, Jen went through a cancer journey with oesophageal cancer and has used the healing benefits of Qigong and yoga to become healthy and vital once more.
This online session is open to all levels of fitness and you do not need any previous experience to join in. Wear loose comfortable clothing.
