Remembering a friend, being remembered
Remembering Counterpart in your will, or making a donation in memory of a friend are two very special ways people can support our service.
People sometimes choose to remember us in the way of a gift of a fixed amount or a percentage of their estate (a bequest). If you are interested in doing this we can provide you with suggested wording that you can use in your will or a solicitor can provide you with more specific advice, just call us on 1300 781 500
Sometimes people (or their immediate family) ask for friends and family to make a donation at their funeral.
Counterpart can provide you with forms people can use at the funeral or help them make online donations. When making donations either way, people simply add the name of the person their donation is in honour of. When we receive a donation as a tribute, we always let the family know a gift has been made (not the amount).
Another way people help support Counterpart is by making donations in celebration of personal milestones and special occasions. Rather than receive presents for a birthday, people might ask for donations instead. Families at Christmas might decide to give a donation alongside sharing and giving presents.
There are many ways to make a difference to the lives of women living with cancer. Call us 1300 781 500 and we can help support in making that tribute or celebration even more meaningful.
