Risk Factors for Endometrial Cancer

This session was recorded on 28 Aug 2015

Endometrial cancer, also known as uterine cancer, is the most common gynaecological cancer and its incidence is rising. There are a number of known risk factors, some of which we can control, e.g. obesity, and some which we cannot, such as age and having gone through menopause. Professor Michael Quinn AM is a Gynaecological Oncologist (Lead for Research) at The Women’s Hospital. He is a Past Chair of the Australian & New Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Trials Group, and of the Gynecological Cancer Inter-Group. Currently he is President Elect of the International Gynaecological Cancer Society. In this webinar Professor Quinn talks on the current knowledge about endometrial cancer and the known risk factors.
