A Counterpart può parlare con una donna che ha avuto il cancro. Questo può aiutarla a trovare:

  • qualcuno con cui parlare che capisce cosa significhi avere il cancro
  • la disponibilità a parlare dei suoi sentimenti, della sua famiglia, del suo lavoro
  • un modo per trovare informazioni, servizi o altro supporto che potrebbe esserle utile
  • idee su come avere cura di sé.

Counterpart offre inoltre:

  • incontri informativi su come avere cura di sé durante e dopo il cancro
  • programmi di attività fisica in diverse aree di Melbourne
  • programmi dedicati alle donne che vivono con un cancro che si è diffuso in altre parti del corpo.

Counterpart è aperto il lunedì, il mercoledì e il giovedì dalle 10 alle 14.

At Counterpart you can speak with a woman who has also had cancer. This can help give you:

  • someone to talk with who understands what it is like to have cancer
  • time to talk about your feelings, your family, your work
  • a way to find information, services or other support that might be useful
  • ideas about how to take care of yourself.

Counterpart also runs:

  • information sessions about how to look after yourself during and after cancer
  • exercise programs in different locations in Melbourne
  • special programs for women who are living with cancer that has spread to another part of the body.
