Fear of cancer recurrence

Date: Monday, 18/10/2021

Time: 1.00pm–2.00pm

Location: Online workshop

Address: N/A

Cancer can potentially be a life limiting disease. It is common and understandable for people diagnosed with cancer to feel anxious about the possibility of the cancer coming back. In this session we will look at:

• factors which can heighten this fear

• strategies to lessen it so it does not become overwhelming

• where you can find support to better manage it.

Our presenter, Dr Dani Bullen, has many years of experience in working with women diagnosed with cancer. Dani is a Clinical Psychologist at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
