Find out about these important resources from the researchers who have led their development.

WeCan.org.au is a supportive care website designed for people affected by cancer. It is a ‘one-stop-shop’ that directs people, no matter where they live, to the information, resources and support services they may need following a diagnosis of cancer.

OlderCan is a new part of the WeCan website that is targeted to older people affected by cancer. This resource provides guidance and support that can help older people discuss their needs, values and preferences when making decisions about cancer treatment and care.

Both of these resources have been codesigned with and for people affected by cancer.

Professor Mei Krishnasamy is the Chair in Cancer Nursing at the University of Melbourne and Director, Academic Nursing Unit at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. She is actively involved in research focusing on cancer care experiences and health outcomes and nurse-led research.

Catherine Devereux is a Project Manager, Co-Design Researcher, Education Designer and Clinician working with Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and University of Melbourne. Her interest and expertise are in codesigning and producing experiential, person-centred, health promoting resources and programs.
